Happy 2016!

Here we are already 3 weeks into a new year!  Its amazing how time flies right through the holidays! Of course my blog was completely neglected for the holiday season.  I am really going to try to keep up the blog this year!

I came back from CHA last week and it was so much fun!  The industry has been changing so much these past few years but I still love the show and seeing everything new and exciting.  The best part is seeing all kinds of friends there.  I'm more comfortable with my job, so it made this year that much better.  I feel like I'm a part of the family when I go into the booths of the manufacturers I represent.  They all knocked it out of the park and released some fantastic products.  One of my favorite things was an embossing technique by Fran at Stampendous.  I've always LOVED their embossing powders, glitter and mica sets.  I use them in almost every project or card I make.  I learned a new technique using the powder, ink and stamps to create beautiful works of art.  I was truly inspired and it was the first thing I tried after coming home.  After a few tries, I made these darling Mini Canvas'.  I'm calling them "Altered Hearts".  I'm announcing my first class of the year teaching this great technique to you!

"Altered Hearts"

Come join me in making 3 mini Altered Hearts Canvas pieces.  You'll make two 4x4 and one 3x3 canvas in class. You'll learn lots of great embossing techniques, inking, painting and more!  Make them for yourself or a loved one.

You will get your hands dirty in this class playing with lots of fun products.  

Bring with you paintbrush, gel medium/modpodge, brown distress ink and a good wet adhesive
